Who We Are
GenTree Living is part of the GenTree Global family of brands, founded by John and Pam
McBride out of Southbury, Connecticut. John brings 38 years of real estate and home
intelligence expertise. Pam brings a lifelong commitment to quality, sustainability, and
intentional living.
Together, they built GenTree to answer a question they kept hearing from families: “Where do I
find products I can actually trust?”
GenTree Living is the answer.
Our Review Standards
Before any product appears on GenTree Living, it must pass our baseline review:
- Genuine sustainability credentials or craftsmanship durability
- Preference for third-party certifications: GOTS, B Corp, Fair Trade, ENERGY STAR
- No fast fashion, disposable goods, or greenwashed claims
- Transparent supply chain and ethical sourcing where relevant
- Long-term product availability — we don’t feature products that disappear
